This standard covers the steel products used for Isuzu's products including the steel products to be machined in Isuzu's own plants and those delivered to Isuzu from the suppliers after half-finished or fully-finished.

However, if a numerical value other than as specified herein is required, such value may appear in individual material purchase specifications in consultation between Isuzu and the manufacturer only when the product can remain meeting the requirements for its quality even with the application of such a value.

PURPOSE

This standard is established to specify the qualities of the steel products purchased to make mechanical structures of Isuzu's products (hereinafter referred to as 'steel products') in order to assure the quality of Isuzu's products.
